These lenses are for the Ray-Ban RB3647N, model 3647, size 51. A similar-looking round frame may have a different rim and should not be assumed compatible.
Can I use them if my RB3647N currently has prescription lenses?
If the frame is an original Ray-Ban RB3647N in size 51, it can be fitted with lenses made for that model. Always verify the temple code before ordering.
Are they glass or plastic?

Installing Ray-Ban RB3647N replacement lenses
Before installation, check the inside of the temple arm and confirm RB 3647N and size 51. This step is essential because a small size difference can prevent the metal rim from closing correctly.
The RB3647N is a metal frame, so the lens is normally replaced by loosening the small rim screw. Once the rim is slightly open, remove the old lens, position the new glass lens and close the rim carefully. Do not press the lens into the frame by force.
Different frame types require different methods: acetate frames are usually pressure-fitted with gentle heat, rimless frames should be handled professionally, and folding frames require extra care around hinges. For this metal model, the correct approach is controlled screw opening, not pressure.
If you do not have experience with precision eyewear screws, visit a local optician. The job is quick for a professional and helps prevent damage to the frame or lens.
