Installing Ray-Ban RB3716 Clubmaster Metal lenses
Before installation, check that your frame is marked RB3716 and size 51 inside the temple arm. This confirms that the lens shape and bevel are correct for the metal rim.
The RB3716 Clubmaster Metal uses a metal-frame screw system. Loosen the rim screw, place the lens into the groove without forcing it, close the rim and tighten the screw carefully while keeping the lens seated evenly.
Do not press these lenses in as you would with some acetate frames. Acetate frames may require controlled pressure and gentle heat, but a metal frame must be opened and closed with its screw system. If a frame is folding or has special hinges, handle the hinge area with extra care.
If you are not used to fitting lenses, we recommend visiting an optician. Professional installation helps avoid scratches on the metal, incorrect tension on the crystal and breakage during fitting.
