Installing Ray-Ban Junior 9060S lenses
Before starting, check the inside of the temple and make sure the frame shows model 9060S and size 50. Do not install the lenses if the reference does not match, as forcing the lens can damage the frame or the lens edge.
The fitting method depends on the frame type. Metal frames are usually opened and closed through the rim screw. Acetate or plastic frames normally use pressure fitting; gentle, controlled warmth can make the frame more flexible. Rimless frames should be handled by a professional. If the frame has folding parts or special hinges, avoid twisting around the hinge area.
Work on a clean surface, with dry hands, and apply pressure gradually. If you feel too much resistance, stop and visit an optician. In our Granada workshop we fit and verify lenses every day, and we know that a rushed installation can break a perfectly usable frame.
