Gradient, polarized and mirror lenses

Installing Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika replacement lenses
The lenses on Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika sunglasses can be replaced at home with care. This model has a plastic front with no screws around the lens, so the lenses are removed and fitted using pressure.
The Erika frame may have matte, satin or rubberized finishes, so we recommend handling it gently at all times to avoid marks or damage to the finish.
Recommendations before you start
- Work on a clean, stable and well-lit surface.
- Use a microfiber cloth or soft cloth to protect the frame and lenses.
- Do not use metal tools directly on the frame.
- Do not force the lens if it does not fit correctly.
- Check first that your sunglasses are the RB4171 Erika model.
Basic steps to replace the lenses
- Hold the frame firmly, but without bending it excessively.
- To remove the old lens, press carefully from the inside out.
- Insert the new lens starting from one of the upper areas of the frame.
- Fit the rest of the lens gradually, applying progressive pressure with your fingers.
- Make sure the entire edge is properly seated in the frame groove.
- Repeat the process with the other lens.
It is usually not necessary to apply heat or use special tools. In some cases, gently warming the frame may make installation easier, but we do not recommend doing this if you have no experience, as excessive heat can deform the frame or damage the matte/rubberized finish.

These took 23 days to arrive (US) so don’t order if you are in a rush. They seem good quality but I am disappointed in the following:
They state they they are a 100% original product, which made me think they were official but the Ray Ban logo has a capital letter P after it. I have no idea why and the photo displayed here on their site does not have that. So the Ray Ban logo is not correct/messed up and people will notice that clearly.
The other lens does not have the signature engraved R on it so I know these are not official. Still, I’m happy to get a bit more life out of my frames vs buying a new pair.
