Installing Ray-Ban RB4175 replacement lenses
Before removing the old lenses, check the inside of the temple and confirm that your frame is marked RB4175 and size 57. This is the best way to avoid confusing the Clubmaster Oversized with other similar Ray-Ban models.
On metal or hybrid frames with a screw-retained rim, lens replacement is usually done by loosening the closing screw, removing the old lens and seating the new lens correctly in the groove before tightening again. Work on a clean surface, with good light, and never force the glass or bend the metal rim.
On full acetate frames, lenses are normally pressure-fitted and may require controlled gentle heat. Rimless frames should be handled by a professional, as incorrect pressure can damage the lens or misalign the frame. If your frame has delicate hinges or moving parts, hold the front securely and avoid pulling from the temples.
