After it you will see color and size codes. Write down the full reference: it will help you choose the exact lens. Be careful: some models from other brands have the same number and are completely unrelated, so make sure your reference starts with “OO”.

How to change the lenses on the Oakley 9013 step by step
To remove the lens
- Hold the sunglasses with the inside facing you.
- Pinch with your fingers. Hold the frame and use your thumb to press the lens outward.
- Start at the nose side. This is where the lens comes out most easily and with the least risk of breaking.
- Take care. Firm but gentle pressure is all you need.
To fit the new lens
- Turn the sunglasses over. Now the front should be facing you.
- Insert the lens at the nose side. Make sure it is the right way round.
- Snap in the rest. Press little by little along the edge until the lens sits completely inside the frame.
- Check the edge. No part should be left outside the groove.

Tips
- If the frame is very stiff, dip it in hot water for a few seconds to soften it and make it easier to work with. Never use boiling water.
- Always start removing and inserting the lens at the nose side. It is easier and there is less risk of breaking it.
- If you are changing both lenses, do one at a time so you don’t mix up left and right.
Common mistakes
- Pushing from the outside to remove it. The lens comes out toward the front, so you always push from the inside.
- Starting at the temple side. The frame has less give there, and the lens is harder to move.
- Overheating. Too much heat can warp the frame.
- Forcing a lens that won’t go in. Take it out, check that it is the right way round and start again.
- Touching the lens with your fingers. Use the cloth so you don’t leave fingerprints or scratch it.
