Have you ever noticed those plastic or silicone pads that our glasses have? And, have you noticed the color these pads take on over time? It’s a bit unpleasant, so sooner or later you will need to change them. In today’s blog we will tell you how to change the nose pads of your Ray-Bans.
We’ll show you step by step:
- To change the nose pads of your Ray-Bans you will need a precision screwdriver or a very small screwdriver, a chamois or a cloth and, if possible, a pair of pliers.
- First cover the lens on the side of the nose pad to be replaced. This prevents accidental damage to the lens.
- Once our lens is covered, use the precision screwdriver to pry open the tabs that hold the Ray-Ban nose pad. Once they are slightly open, pop the nose pad off.
- In order to install the new nose pad, place it onto its mount, press it into place and use the pliers to squeeze each tab closed.
- Once it is properly attached, your nose pad has been changed.
It’s quite simple, but there is always something that may vary or have a rather unusual mechanism. As you already know, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be very happy to help.
