How to Place an Order

Placing an order at ReplacementLenses is easy: you search for your Ray-Ban or Oakley model, choose the part, size and color, and complete your purchase. The key to getting it right is knowing your model and size beforehand, and we explain how to find those here too.

We often get calls and emails asking about a specific model or how to buy on the website. In this guide we walk you through the whole process, from finding your reference to receiving the confirmation email.

Before you start: identify your glasses

The reference is on the temple

On the inside of one of the temples of your Ray-Bans you will see the full reference printed. For example, on an Aviator you will find something like “RB3025 001 58□14”. The first part is the model (3025), the second is the frame color code (001) and the third gives the measurements: the lens width or lens size (58) and the bridge width (14). Sometimes the temple length is shown too. On Oakleys the reference is usually on the inside of the temple as well.

Why the lens size matters

Many models come in several sizes, and a lens in a different size won’t fit. If the markings have worn off, you can measure the lens with a ruler across its widest part; we have a dedicated guide on how to measure the lens size. And if you are still unsure, write to us with a photo and we will check it for you.

How to place an order step by step

1. On the home page, use the model search bar at the top.
2. Type in your model number, for example 3025.
3. You will see several options: temples, lenses, spare parts… Click on the one you need or press Enter to see all the results.
4. In our example we want replacement lenses, so we open that product page.
5. Choose the size (lens size) and the color of the lenses you want.
6. If you need them, add useful parts or accessories, such as a screwdriver, a case or an anti-fog cloth.
7. Click the Add to cart button.
8. Open the cart and check that the products, sizes and colors are correct.
9. Proceed to checkout.
10. Fill in your details, shipping address and payment method.
11. Check that everything is correct and confirm your order.

And that’s it! You will receive an email with all the details of your purchase. Keep it, as it will serve as a reference if you need to contact us.

Tips for getting your order right

• Original or compatible. For many models you can choose between original Ray-Ban replacement lenses, which are official brand parts, and compatible replacement lenses, a more affordable alternative.
• Temples and small parts. Temples are found the same way, by model, and screws, nose pads and temple tips are in other Ray-Ban spare parts.
• Oakley. The process is the same: search for your model and choose the part, for example in original Oakley replacement lenses.
• Check your cart. A final look at the size and color avoids most mistakes.

Common ordering mistakes

• Ordering the right model in the wrong lens size.
• Confusing a sunglasses model with its eyeglasses version, which sometimes has a different reference.
• Choosing the color from the photo without checking the color code on the temple.
• Forgetting the screwdriver if you don’t have a precision one at home.

Frequently asked questions

I can’t find my model in the search bar. What should I do?

Try typing just the number (for example, 3025 instead of RB3025). If it still doesn’t appear, write to us with a photo of the markings on the temple and we will tell you whether we have the part.

How do I know if the part is right for my glasses?

Compare the model and lens size on the product page with the reference printed on your temple. If they match, the part is right for your glasses.

What warranty do the parts have?

All our parts come with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Original parts come from EssilorLuxottica, for whom we have been a certified distributor since 2018.

I made a mistake with my order. What should I do?

Write to us as soon as possible with your order number and we will look into it with you.
