A pair of non-prescription compatible lenses, made to fit the RB3492 frame. Choose the finish, color and coating you prefer.
The outer shape isn't enough to identify the right part. Check the inscription on the inside of the arm before choosing.
In an inscription such as RB3492 ··· 62□·· ···, these are the key details:
Each pair is made for the shape and lens size of the RB3492. We select the polycarbonate, cut it with MEI EasyFit TREND technology and check the edge, shape and finish before shipping.
Polycarbonate is the base material of our compatible lenses. We chose it for its balance of strength, weight and ability to adapt precisely to the shape of each frame.
Each pair is machined for the selected model and lens size and goes through a shape, edge and finish check before shipping. The result is a comfortable, durable lens made specifically to renew your glasses.
Material · PolycarbonateIt withstands accidental knocks better than more fragile materials, a real advantage in everyday use.
Its low weight helps keep the frame comfortable through many hours of wear.
The material helps filter out ultraviolet radiation, and our sun lens configurations include UV protection.
It allows stable machining with MEI EasyFit TREND technology to respect shape, lens size and fit.
Durable doesn't mean scratch-proof. The hard coating improves surface resistance, but we recommend cleaning the lenses with a microfiber cloth and not resting them on abrasive surfaces.
On a sun lens, an AR coating on the inner surface helps reduce reflections coming from behind or from the sides. That means fewer distractions and more comfortable vision.
Light can bounce off the inner surface and back into your eyes. The anti-reflective coating reduces that back reflection to better preserve contrast and sharpness.
Several microscopic optical layers control light waves through destructive interference. This reduces the portion that bounces back toward the eye and helps more light pass into the lens material.
When you tilt the lens, you may see a subtle green, blue or violet reflection. It's the small amount of light the coating still reflects, and its color depends on the coating design.
Important: the residual tint is normal, but on its own it doesn't prove the quality of the coating. Its effectiveness depends on the overall coating design.
Back reflection can be distracting or uncomfortable
Less light returns to the eye, for more comfortable vision
Anti-reflective coating is not on every lens: you choose it on this page with the treatment (sun: Polarized Elite; clear: AR + Hard Coat or Full Treatment).
Select an option to compare what you'll notice when looking through the lens and what it includes.
No polarizing filter
Glare off the asphalt is still visible
It does not include a filter that blocks horizontally reflected light.
For everyday use and anyone looking for a simple, affordable option.
The filter reduces horizontal glare
Polarization works on reflected light; it is not the same as an anti-reflective coating.
Recommended for driving, the beach and situations with strong glare.
Polarized vision
Less glare from the front
The polarizing filter and the AR coating perform different, complementary functions.
For those who want maximum sharpness and visual comfort.
No additional coatings
The reflection of the light source remains visible
Impact resistance comes from the material itself; it is not presented as an additional layer.
Basic clear lens for everyday use.
Less reflection; the residual green-blue tint is normal
The hard coating improves scratch resistance, but it doesn't make the lens scratch-proof.
To reduce reflections and improve durability in everyday use.
Full coating package
Droplets bead up and cling less
Impact resistance comes from the polycarbonate and is not counted as a layer.
The most complete option for protection, easy cleaning and comfort.
Both options will renew your frame. Choose based on the finish, availability and budget that suit you best.

Compatible Ray-Ban 3492 Replacement Lenses. If the lenses on your Ray-Ban RB3492 are scratched, worn or have lost their mirror, you do not need new sunglasses. These compatible replacement lenses, cut in our workshop for this frame, give you clear vision again and let you choose the colour and treatment.
The Ray-Ban RB3492 (or Ray-Ban 3492) is a metal frame, size 62 with a 16 mm bridge.
Look on the inside of the left temple: you should see the code RB3492 followed by the size (62 mm). The size is the number before the □ symbol, and it is the one to choose here. If you cannot find the code or it has worn off, send us a photo of your sunglasses and we will help.
You can order them tinted in green, brown or grey, in blue, pink, red or yellow, gradient, mirrored (black, ice blue, blue, green, 24K gold, purple or red), clear or photochromic. For sun lenses you can choose non-polarized, Polarized Plus, which blocks reflected light and suits driving or the sea, or Polarized Elite, which adds an anti-reflective coating. Fashion colours and photochromic lenses are only available non-polarized.
Use a precision screwdriver to loosen the screw that closes the rim and take the lens out without forcing it. Seat the new lens fully in the groove and tighten the screw again, without overtightening.
These lenses are compatible: they are cut in our workshop and are not original Ray-Ban. If you prefer the brand’s own, we have original Ray-Ban RB3492 replacement lenses. You will find more models in compatible Ray-Ban lenses.
We recommend cleaning the lenses with water and a microfibre cloth. We offer a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects (it does not cover scratches or damage from use).
