How to change acetate lenses?
- Prepare your glasses: Wash your hands and place the glasses on a clean, soft surface.
- Warm up the frame: Acetate is rigid; use a hair dryer on medium heat or dip the front in lukewarm water for 30 seconds to make the material flexible.
- Remove the old lenses: With the frame warmed up, hold firmly and gently press the lens from the back outwards until it pops out.
- Align the new lenses: Make sure the new lenses match the curvature and shape of the frame.
- Snap in the new lenses: If the frame has cooled down, warm it up again. Insert one side of the lens and press the rest of the edge until it clicks into place.
- Verify and clean: Once cool, ensure the lenses are secure and clean with a microfiber cloth.
