How to install Ray-Ban RB3016M replacement lenses
Before installation, confirm that your frame is Ray-Ban RB3016M and that the lens size is 51 mm. The model and size are normally printed inside the temple. A 49 mm lens will not fit correctly in a 51 mm frame.
This Clubmaster-style construction normally uses a metal eyewire around the lens. The eyewire screw should be loosened with a precision screwdriver. Work on a clean, soft surface and handle the mineral glass lenses carefully.
- Open the frame and locate the eyewire screw.
- Loosen the screw just enough to release the old lens.
- Remove the lens without levering against the front or wood elements.
- Seat the new Ray-Ban RB3016M lens into the groove.
- Close the eyewire and tighten the screw gently, without over-tightening.
