Before you choose

Find the right lens size for your RB3136

The inscription on the inside of the arm lets you confirm the model and exact lens measurement without visually comparing frames.

Inscription on the inside of the arm: RB3136 ··· 55□·· ···Example for guidance only. The position and order of the codes may vary depending on the frame.

How to read the inscription

In an inscription such as RB3136 ··· 55□·· ···, each part has a purpose:

RB3136ModelMust match this product.
···Frame colorIdentifies the finish of the frame front.
55Lens sizeThis is the size you need to select.
··BridgeThis is not the lens size.

This reference comes in 2 sizes. Find the number right before the □ symbol on your arm and choose that same lens size:

  • 55□ → 55 mm
  • 58□ → 58 mm

The number after the □ is the bridge: it isn't used to choose the lens. Can't read it? Measure your lens from side to side at its widest point; that measurement in millimeters matches the lens size.

Ray-Ban RB3136 Caravan replacement lenses, original and compatible

Refresh your Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses with Ray-Ban replacement lenses made for the RB3136 model. These lenses are designed to restore clear vision, authentic style and sun-lens performance while keeping the metal frame you already know and like.

The product is available as original Ray-Ban lenses and compatible replacement options, making it suitable for customers who want a precise fit for the standard Caravan model. You can also browse more original Ray-Ban lenses for other models.

Model compatibility

These lenses are intended for the Ray-Ban Caravan RB3136, also known as Ray-Ban model 3136. Before ordering, check the inside of the temple or bridge of your frame for the RB3136 reference and the lens size. This model is available in 55 mm and 58 mm, and the correct size is essential for a safe fit.

The Caravan shape is not the same as Ray-Ban Cockpit, and lenses should not be interchanged between different model codes. Older Bausch & Lomb frames or non-original Caravan-style frames may have different manufacturing tolerances, so the model and size markings should always be checked carefully.

Lens material, protection and available finishes

The listed colour options are made from mineral glass, a premium lens material appreciated for its optical clarity, solid feel and good everyday scratch resistance. The Base 6 curve helps preserve the original visual geometry and the balanced fit of the metal Caravan frame.

G15 is the classic Ray-Ban green lens, ideal for a timeless look. Code 71 offers a grey gradient finish, useful when you want a softer tint transition. AG features a yellow lens with a grey bi-mirror finish, giving the Caravan a more distinctive, modern appearance.

Ray-Ban authenticity and logo

Original Ray-Ban lenses include the Ray-Ban logo on the lens. They may also feature the discreet RB engraving associated with genuine Ray-Ban replacement lenses. Always match the model code, lens size and colour code before completing your purchase.

Why replace only the lenses

If your Ray-Ban Caravan frame is still in good condition, replacing only the lenses is a smart way to extend the life of your sunglasses. You keep the fit and feel of your metal frame while restoring the visual quality and appearance of the RB3136.

Frequently asked questions

Are these lenses compatible with Ray-Ban Caravan RB3136?

Yes, they are intended for Ray-Ban Caravan RB3136. Check that your frame is marked RB3136 and choose the matching 55 mm or 58 mm size.

Do they fit Ray-Ban Cockpit?

No. The Cockpit uses a different lens shape, so the RB3136 Caravan replacement lenses should only be used with the correct Caravan frame.

How do I choose between 55 mm and 58 mm?

The size is usually printed inside the temple or on the bridge next to the model code. Select the same size marked on your frame.

Do original lenses have the Ray-Ban logo?

Yes. Original Ray-Ban lenses include the Ray-Ban logo and may also have the subtle RB engraving on the lens.

What material are these lenses made from?

FAQ

Is the price for one lens or for the pair?

The price is for a complete pair: original Ray-Ban right and left lenses.

Can I choose a different color from the original?

Yes. You can choose another available variant as long as you select the RB3136 model and the exact lens size of your frame.

How do I know if I need 55 or 58 mm?

Look for the reference on the inside of the arm. In an inscription such as RB3136 ··· 55□··, the number 55 is the lens size.

Are all colors available in all lens sizes?

Not necessarily. Final availability depends on the lens size and the color and coating combination: when you choose a lens size, you'll only see the colors that exist for it.

Do the polarized versions have a logo?

Yes. On polarized variants, the marking may appear as Ray-Ban P, in addition to the discreet RB engraving.

Will they fit another similar model?

No. Shape doesn't determine compatibility: these lenses are only for reference RB3136 and the lens size you choose.
