Model compatibility

These lenses are made for Ray-Ban 3636 / RB3636 sunglasses. Because they are original Ray-Ban lenses, the shape, edging and fit are designed for this exact frame, helping to avoid looseness, rattling or poor seating inside the metal rim.

Do not rely only on the look of the frame. Similar Ray-Ban styles may have different lens geometry, so the model code on the temple is the safest way to confirm compatibility.

How to identify your model and size

Check the inside of the temple arm. You should see RB3636 and the lens size. For this product, the available sizes are 55 and 58, and you must select the same size printed on your frame.

The size is the lens calibre in millimetres. The working diameters for these lenses are 59 mm for size 55 and 62 mm for size 58.

Material, protection and lens options

These lenses are made of glass, as specified for this original Ray-Ban replacement. Glass provides excellent optical clarity and the solid visual feel expected from premium Ray-Ban sunglasses.

All options include UV400 protection, blocking 100% UVA and UVB rays. The G6 and G5 options are listed as polarised in the product attributes; original Ray-Ban polarised lenses carry the Ray-Ban P marking.

Why replace only the lenses

If your RB3636 frame is still in good condition, replacing only the lenses is the smartest choice. You keep a premium metal Ray-Ban frame that already fits your face and restore clear vision for a fraction of the cost of new sunglasses.

It is also a more sustainable decision, extending the life of a quality frame and reducing unnecessary waste. You can find more options in our original Ray-Ban lenses category.
