How to install Ray-Ban RB4291 lenses
Before starting, check the inside of the temple arm and confirm that your frame is RB4291 in size 58. Similar-looking Ray-Ban frames may use different lenses, so the frame code is essential.
The RB4291 uses a nylon frame, so lens replacement is normally done by pressure fitting. Remove the old lens carefully from the inner side of the frame, then insert the new lens by seating one section of the edge first and working around the groove gradually.
Metal frames usually rely on screws; acetate frames may require gentle heat; rimless frames or very delicate constructions should be handled by a professional. With the RB4291, do not twist the frame or force the lens sharply: use controlled, even pressure.
