Ray-Ban Replacement Lenses
Find your Ray-Ban model and lens size
Open the arms and look at the inside: Ray-Ban prints the reference there, for example RB2140 901 50□22 150. RB2140 is the model, 901 the frame colour, 50 the lens size (the width of each lens in millimetres), 22 the bridge and 150 the arm length. To order lenses you only need the model and the number in front of the □.
The lens size matters as much as the model. The RB3025 Aviator is made in 55, 58 and 62 mm and the RB2132 New Wayfarer in 52, 55 and 58 mm, and a lens of one size will not fit another. Our guide on how to identify your Ray-Ban model shows where to look on each type of frame.
Same look, different lenses
Many Ray-Bans look the same at first glance, but each reference has its own lens shape, curve and edge. The RB2140 Wayfarer, the RB2132 New Wayfarer and the RB4165 Justin are similar in style and do not share lenses. The Aviator family is the same story: the RB3025, RB3026, RB3689 Aviator Metal II and RB3625 New Aviator each have their own product page here. Order by the reference on your arm, not by the name or a photo.
Original, compatible or prescription: three ways to renew your Ray-Bans
We have lenses for more than 500 Ray-Ban references. Each type has its own section with all the colours, coatings and details:
Original Ray-Ban replacement lenses with logo: made by Ray-Ban (EssilorLuxottica) for your exact reference, in Ray-Ban’s own colours, from 39 € a pair. We have been a certified EssilorLuxottica distributor since 2018.
Compatible Ray-Ban lenses: made independently and cut in our Granada workshop for your model, without the logo, in more colours and coatings, from 19 € a pair.

Polarized, mirrored, clear or photochromic
Polarized lenses cut the glare reflected by roads, water and windscreens. In originals they exist where Ray-Ban makes a polarized version for your reference and size, marked “Ray-Ban P” on the lens; compatible and prescription lenses can be polarized on many more models. Mirror finishes work the same way: the official ones in originals, and seven mirror colours in compatibles. Clear and photochromic lenses, which darken in the sun, come in compatible and prescription versions.
Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Junior
We also renew smart glasses and kids’ frames: compatible and prescription lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer, Skyler and Headliner (for example the RW4012 compatible lenses and RW4012 prescription lenses), and original lenses for Ray-Ban Junior models such as the RJ9052S New Wayfarer Junior and the RJ9060S Erika Junior.
How to change Ray-Ban lenses at home
On most models it takes a few minutes, and the method depends on the frame. Metal frames such as the RB3025 Aviator or the RB3447 Round Metal close the rim with a small screw: loosen it, swap the lens and tighten gently. Acetate frames such as the RB2140 Wayfarer or the RB2132 New Wayfarer are warmed in water at about 40 °C so the front flexes; then you push the old lens out from the inside and press the new one in from the front. Never use boiling water.

Warranty, returns and delivery
Every lens, original or compatible, has a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you order the wrong lenses, tell us within 14 days of delivery and send them back unused; the details are in the questions below and in our returns policy.
We ship from Granada, Spain, and in-stock lenses leave the same or the next business day. Standard tracked shipping takes 9–20 business days to the United States, with import duties and taxes already paid by us, and 3–8 business days to the UK; DHL Express reaches the US in 2–6 business days. FAQ
What customers ask us most before ordering.
Can I get my Ray-Ban lenses replaced?
Yes, and you do not need new sunglasses. Order the lenses for your reference and size and fit them at home, or ask an optician to fit them. We have lenses for more than 500 Ray-Ban references.
Is it cheaper to replace the lenses than to buy new Ray-Bans?
In most cases, yes: original lenses start at 39 € and compatibles at 19 € a pair, and you keep a frame you already know fits you.
Where is the model number on my Ray-Bans?
On the inside of one of the arms, in a line such as RB2140 901 50□22 150. The part that starts with RB (or RJ on Junior models and RW on Ray-Ban Meta) is the model.
The print on my arm has worn off. How do I find my lens size?
Measure one of your current lenses across its widest point, in millimetres: that is the lens size. Or send us photos of the front and the inside of the arms and we will identify the model and size for you.
Do Wayfarer, New Wayfarer and Justin lenses fit each other?
No. The RB2140 Wayfarer, the RB2132 New Wayfarer and the RB4165 Justin look alike, but each has its own lens shape and sizes. Always order by the reference on your arm.
Are Ray-Ban lenses glass or plastic?
It depends on the model and the colour. Classic models such as the RB3025 Aviator and the RB2140 Wayfarer often have glass (crystal) lenses, while many newer models use polycarbonate. Each product page shows the material of every colour.
What does G-15 mean on Ray-Ban lenses?
G-15 is Ray-Ban’s classic green lens, which lets through about 15% of visible light. B-15 is the brown version. Both are available as originals for many models.
Can I change the colour of my lenses?
Yes, as long as the lens is made for your reference and size. Originals come in the colours Ray-Ban makes for that model; compatibles add fashion tints, gradients, mirrors, clear and photochromic lenses.
How can I tell if my current lenses are polarized?
Polarized Ray-Ban lenses carry a small “P” after the Ray-Ban logo. You can also look at a phone screen and turn your glasses 90 degrees: with polarized lenses the screen darkens.
Polarized or non-polarized: which should I choose?
Polarized if you drive a lot or spend time near water or snow, because they cut reflected glare. Non-polarized if you need to read screens outdoors, since polarized lenses can make some phone and dashboard screens look dark.
Do you have mirrored lenses for my model?
In originals, if Ray-Ban makes a mirror version for your reference and size. In compatibles, there are seven mirror finishes: black, ice blue, blue, green, 24K gold, purple and red.
Can I get prescription lenses with the Ray-Ban logo?
Not from us. Our prescription lenses are made to measure in our workshop and do not carry the Ray-Ban logo, and the original Ray-Ban lenses we sell are non-prescription.
Can prescription lenses be tinted, polarized or photochromic?
Yes. You can choose clear, sun tints (solid, gradient or mirror), polarized or photochromic. The thinnest index, 1.67, is available in clear lenses.
Do you have lenses for Ray-Ban Junior sunglasses?
Yes: original lenses for Junior models such as the RJ9052S New Wayfarer Junior, the RJ9060S Erika Junior, the RJ9066 and others, and compatible lenses for the RJ9069S Justin Junior.
Is it difficult to replace Ray-Ban lenses, and do I need tools?
Not on most models. Metal frames need a precision screwdriver for the rim screw; acetate frames need a bowl of hot (not boiling) water or a hair dryer on low. A soft cloth helps, and no glue is ever needed.
Which countries do you ship to, and how long does it take?
We ship to most countries from Granada, Spain, always with tracking. Standard shipping takes about 9–20 business days to the US, 3–8 to the UK, 9–15 to Canada and 8–26 to Australia, counted from dispatch. The shipping page lists every country.
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?
Not in the US or the EU (except the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla): for US orders we already pay the duties and taxes. In the UK, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Norway and other non-EU countries, the local VAT or GST, duties and a carrier handling fee may be charged on delivery; they are not included in our price.
Can I get my lenses faster?
Yes: choose DHL Express at checkout. It takes 2–6 business days to the US and 1–6 to the UK from dispatch, and in-stock lenses leave the same or the next business day. Prescription lenses need 3–6 business days of preparation first.
Can I return lenses after fitting them?
Only at a loss: a fitted, used or scratched lens can no longer be sold, so we deduct that loss of value from the refund, and it can be the full amount. Check the reference and the size on your arm before fitting, and ask us if in doubt. Prescription and engraved lenses cannot be returned unless defective.
What does the 3-year warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects in any lens, original or compatible, for 3 years. It does not cover knocks, scratches, normal wear or damage from forcing a lens into the frame, so if a lens will not go in easily, stop and write to us. To use it, send us your order number and photos; we reply within 1–3 business days.
